Tips on How to Crack Bank Exams on First Attempt

 Tips For Beginners:

 Tip No. 1

Understand the exam pattern: Understand the exam pattern first. For whatever exam (Clerical or P.O.) you are preparing, gather some previous years' question papers of that exam. Try to solve the collected papers. Of course, you will not understand them completely. See, our purpose is not to solve them. But this will help you to understand the paper pattern. Inspect the paper type very well. This will give you benefits. While preparing, you will have an idea about what type of questions are asked in the exam. Look, hard work is a must. If you will do less hard work mixing it with smart work, this will help you to ace any exam.

Tip No. 2

Consistency (5-6 Hours)Moving to tip two, which is extremely important. People prepare for 3-4 years and end up saying that they couldn’t crack the exam. These people are not selected because they were not consistent. Usually, the candidates prepare for a month and take frequent breaks. This is not the right approach. Let me reveal, a specialty of banking exams. If you have prepared for 2 months and rested for 10-15 days, you will be back to zero level. You have to keep in mind that you don’t have to take a lot of breaks. See, consistency simply means that you have to take out 5-6 hours daily for study. Consistency is the key.. Fix your goal: Dedicate 5 to 6 hours daily to it. In an emergency, you may study for 2 hours. But it is a must to study daily.

Tip No. 3

Newspaper Reading: Newspaper reading is another vital tip to crack the exam on the first attempt. A newspaper is one arrow for two targets. If you will read a newspaper daily, your score in English, as well as Current Affairs/GK/GA, will improve. If you want to score well in G.A. and English, the Newspaper is the key. Exams like SSC are bookish but bank exams are sense based. Your sense will be automatically developed by reading newspaper. In 1-2 months you will find a massive difference in your scores after following this tip. Read the newspaper for 1.5-2 hours.

Tip No. 4

Preparing for Interview from Day 1:In addition to all 3 tips, I have another one for you. Many of you have experienced failures in prelims, mains, or interviews. You have to prepare for the interview from the very first day. Usually, people prepare for prelims. Then after clearing, they prepare for mains and then for interview. But in banking exams, you are hardly given 15-20 days to appear in mains and interview. Trust me, it is challenging to prepare for mains and interview in 15-20 days. From the first day of your preparation, your approach should be the interview. It doesn’t mean that you have to start preparing for an interview. But, prepare as if you are preparing for an interview. You just have to clear your basics. If your basics will be clear then you can solve any D.I. of arithmetic. If I sum up, you have to polish your basics, so that they do not create any barriers for you in mains and interview. Those who say that they are unable to crack the exam even after preparing for 3-4 years please tell to calculate their average study hours. You have to maintain your average monthly study plan. Your minimum average in a month should be 150 hours. So, all the beginners, start your preparation on the basis of the tips I disclosed.
