As per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the Staff Selection Commission will conduct an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR), and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). 

Pay Scale: Pay Level -1 (Rs. 18,000 to 56,900) for the post of Sepoy in NCB and Pay Level – 3 (Rs. 21,700/- to 69,100/-) for all other posts.

Age Limit: Accordingly, the age of the candidate must be 18-23 years as on 01-01-2025 (i.e., candidates born not before 02-01-2002 and not later than 01-01-2007).
