Online applications are invited from bonafide citizens of India for selection of candidates for Direct recruitment in Temporary posts of 2(two) (UR-01 & ST-01) vacancies of Assistant Professor, Group-A, Gazetted for Regional College of Physical Education, Panisagar, North Tripura under the Education (YAS) Department, Govt. of Tripura. The scale of Pay Academic Level -10, Rs. 57,700 per month subject to revision by the Government from time to time plus other allowances as admissible to the State Government employees.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

(A) (i) A Master Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from UGC recognized University or an equivalent Degree from an accredited Foreign University,

(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET Provided however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D Degree) Regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor in the Regional College of Physical Education, Panisagar, North Tripura and others.

(iii) Knowledge in Bengali or Kokborok.

SELECTION PROCESS:

(a) As per service rules the recruitment process will comprise of 02 (two) steps: viz- Screening by API Score: 85% marks of API Score (85% of 100 marks). Interview/ Viva: 15 marks.

FEES:

(a) Rs. 400/-(Rupees four hundred) for General Candidates and Rs.350/-(Rupees three hundred & fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.

(b) Recruitment fee so deposited, is non-refundable.
