It is for information of all concerned that the Department of Rural Development  has initiated recruitment for the post  of Junior (Jr.) Mechanic under Govt. of Tripura.

Name of the post: Junior (Jr.) Mechanic 

Number of posts : 154 plus additional post

Scale of pay: Pay Band Scale Rs.5700-24000/- G / P ayRs.2100/-.

Age limit for direct recruitment: 18 to 40 years. Upper age limit is relaxable 5 years in case of ST/SC/PH candidates and Government employees

Qualification: Technical Qualification should be 2(two) years certificate course in the field of Fitter/ Motor Mechanic & Diesel Mechanic. The Qualification should be equivalent to passed lOth class examination with Science and Mathematics. 

 Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok
