Recruitment Process:Candidates should apply only through ONLINE mode through any of the official websites of the RRBs. Candidates can apply to only one RRB for a pay level and only one common ONLINE application (in order of preference for any or all the notified posts in that pay level for which the candidate is eligible and interested to apply) should be submitted by a candidate in a pay level. The selection of RRB once exercised shall be final. Application to more than one RRB for the same pay level by a candidate will lead to rejection of all the applications for that Pay Level.
The recruitment process shall comprise of the following stages:
(1) Computer Based Test
(ii) Document Verification (DV) and
(iii) Medical Examination (ME)
Medical Fitness: Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed medical standards for the post(s) they are opting for. Candidates who are found medically unsuitable for the opted post(s) shall not be given any alternative appointment.
Application fee: For all candidates (except categories mentioned below at Sl. No. 2). Out of this fee of Rs 500/-, an amount of Rs 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in CBT.
For candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC). (Caution to Candidates: EBC should not be confused with OBC or EWS) This fee of Rs 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT.
