AGE Limits:  as of September 1, 2023; up to 40 years. For candidates who are SC/ST/PH or who work for the government, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years.

Educational Qualification:                

• Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in agriculture or horticulture from a board or institute that is recognised.
•  Candidates should be able to write in either Bengali or Kokborok.
• Applicants must be familiar with Tripura's agro-climatic conditions.

Selection Process:

The selection procedure for the TPSC Agriculture Officer position consists of two steps.

• Written Exam: To continue on to the next level of the recruiting process, candidates must pass the 180-mark written exam for the TPSC Agriculture Officer position.

• Interview: Candidates who advance from the first round must compete in the 20 marks TPSC AO interview. The candidates who pass this stage are taken into consideration for the TPSC Agriculture Officer position.
