Under the Skill India Mission of the Government of India Online applications are invited from Indian citizens for engagement in the 57th Batch (for Non-ITI & ITI candidates) of Trade Apprentices Training under the Apprentices Act 1961 and amendments thereof in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories located in different States across India. The total number of vacancies is approx. 5395 including 3508 ITI and 1887 Non-ITI. The engaged apprentices shall be imparted training in the Indian Ordnance Factories which are located all over India.

Candidates who have already applied through the Government of India portal, http://www.apprenticeship.gov.in are required to re-apply through the link uploaded on the YIL website: https://www.yantraindia.co.in, under the “Career” Tab. Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship and have National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) are not eligible to apply.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION OF APPLICATION:

Submission of On-line Application Starts from: 01.03.2023

Closing date of submission of On-line Application: 30.03.2023 (23:59 Hours)

AGE Limits:  Between 15 to 24 years as of 30.03.2023. The age Relaxation will be given as per the Rules of the Government.

Educational Qualification:                

For Non-ITI Category

Should have Passed Madhyamik (class X std or equivalent) as on the date of notification for applying with minimum 50% marks as per criteria of that Board. (as per their Marksheet) and with a minimum of 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each.

For ITI Category

1. Should have passed relevant trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette notification of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/Ministry of Labour and Employment with a duration as per the Apprentice Act 1961 with minimum 50% marks. The relevant trade to be considered will be strictly on the basis of Schedule I of the Apprentice Act 1961 (and amendments thereof).

2. In addition, the candidate must have passed Madhyamik / Class X std or equivalent (Minimum 50% marks in Matriculate / Class X std).

 Selection Process:

Selection will be done on the basis of the merit list. The merit list will be prepared separately for NON-ITI and EX-ITI categories.
