Punit Goenka, the managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of Zee Entertainment Enterprises, has resigned from his position but will still carry out his duties as the CEO. Justice D Krishnakumar was appointed Chief Justice of the Manipur High Court within 48 hours after the Supreme Court Collegium recommended his name on November 18. At the moment, Justice Krishnakumar is a judge on the Madras High Court. He will retire on May 21, 2025, having been appointed a judge of the Madras High Court on April 7, 2016.

Jay Shah of India was replaced as President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) by Shammi Silva of Sri Lanka. Shah served three terms as the president of the ACC before taking over as president of the International Cricket Council (ICC). State Bank of India (SBI) has named Ram Mohan Rao Amara as its managing director for a three-year term. The position became vacant when C.S. Shetty was appointed Chairman of SBI, and his nomination was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB), which chose Amara from among nine applicants for the MD position, recommended the appointment.

UIDAI was created in 2009 as a Planning Commission affiliated office, and the Adhaar Act of 2016 granted it statutory status.
