Punit Goenka, the managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of Zee Entertainment Enterprises, has resigned from his position but will still carry out his duties as the CEO. Justice D Krishnakumar was appointed Chief Justice of the Manipur High Court within 48 hours after the Supreme Court Collegium recommended his name on November 18. At the moment, Justice Krishnakumar is a judge on the Madras High Court. He will retire on May 21, 2025, having been appointed a judge of the Madras High Court on April 7, 2016.

Jay Shah of India was replaced as President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) by Shammi Silva of Sri Lanka. Shah served three terms as the president of the ACC before taking over as president of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
